A-League Finals are HERE!

Claudio Marchisio - Juventus Italy

(This post is sponsored by Unibet – but the the words and fashion references are our own).

Adelaide United and Western Sydney Wanderers will both be hoping to end grand final hoodoos when they meet in the A-League decider with a new champion set to be crowned at Adelaide Oval this Sunday 1st May, 2016.

Sport has an enormous hold on our Australian culture and although soccer originated in the northern hemisphere it has grown exponentially over the last four years gaining large crowds at every game.

Soccer stars understand also that they have a shelf life and after many years in the game with potential injuries coming to haunt them annually, some have turned their talents from games to collections.

So what of these highly athletic individuals who look more like models than broken nosed sportsmen. Teko Modise has opened his own line of formalwear for the dapper man named Fashion Don. Real Madrid players and Liverpool strikers alike have considered the life of a fashionisto, by always locking down the supreme style when spotted in public.

Our very own Tim Cahill launched his sportsluxe brand Cahill+ this year at Glue Stores to much success. His comments on the endeavour? “This fashion game is a tough world. You’ve got to make sure you’ve got the right product and again you need the right alignment. It takes time. I suppose this is just the beginning of the adventure.”

Well, if the most photographed soccer star, David Beckham, can succeed in it – can anyone else? Strategy gents! strategy!
